Tyler is the Founder and Executive Director of Missional Labs, an innovation platform for the global Church that equips leaders to launch new ministries, design impactful solutions, and build ecosystems for long-term Gospel impact. Since launching in 2022, Missional Labs has helped catalyze more than 60 ventures around the world and has emerged as a leading voice in faith-driven innovation.

A pastor, strategist, missiologist, and entrepreneur, Tyler brings over 15 years of experience in global missions, church planting, nonprofit leadership, and venture development. He has worked with leaders in more than 50 countries to tackle complex mission challenges and build Gospel-centered initiatives across diverse contexts.

Before founding Missional Labs, Tyler served as Chief of Staff at Church of the City New York, where he led strategic initiatives for a growing Church in the middle of Manhattan. He previously worked with Praxis Labs, a leading faith-based venture organization, and began his ministry career with OneHope, a global ministry reaching hundreds of millions of young people with Scripture engagement tools.

Tyler was named a Lausanne Younger Leader in 2016 and continues to serve as a connector and strategist within global mission networks. He regularly speaks, teaches, and advises ministries on innovation, leadership, and the future of mission.

He holds a BA in Economics and Global Studies from Azusa Pacific University, an MA in Theology from Reformed Theological Seminary, and is currently completing a Doctor of Missiology with a focus on “Generative Ecclesiology.” He lives in Nashville with his wife, Melany, and their daughter, Penny.
