ABOUT
Tyler is a husband, dad, and the founder of Missional Labs—an innovation studio that helps leaders launch new ministries and build ventures for Gospel impact on the frontiers of the Church.
A missiologist, entrepreneur, pastor, and explorer—he's spent over 15 years coming alongside missional founders, helping them solve hard problems and build what's next for the global Church. He works at the intersection of theology, strategy, and organizational design, and loves architecting systems and solutions that help pioneers move from vision to impact.
Before founding Missional Labs, Tyler helped plant Church of the City New York and worked with Praxis Labs and OneHope, where he got his start in global ministry. Along the way, he's traveled to more than 65 countries and had the chance to work with leaders across wildly different contexts—which has shaped how he thinks about mission, innovation, and the Church.
Tyler is finishing a Doctor of Missiology and lives in Nashville with his wife, Melany, and their daughters, Penny and Margot. He's usually reading, exploring a new city, or hunting for a great cup of coffee.
